we provide Veterinary Services DURING EACH STAGE OF PRODUCTION
Pre-Production
VetFlix will consult with you during the planning stages, offering:
Professional advice and guidance regarding animal welfare and veterinary issues
Risk assessments to ensure welfare of animals on set
Communication with animal handlers and production team
Suggestions to ensure scenarios involving animals are more realistic (if requested). For example, during medical or surgical scenes.
PRODUCTION
VetFlix provides an experienced veterinary surgeon onsite, offering:
Clinical examinations of animals to ensure they are healthy to work and travel
Careful observation throughout filming to ensure safety of animals and crew
First aid for animals in event of accident or emergency
Advocate for animal welfare
Post-Production
On completion of filming, written documentation will be provided to certify that welfare needs have been met and that no animals were harmed during production. This is in accordance with RSPCA standards and Clearcast guidelines.
